Dec. 20, 1913 – May 26, 1975

B.E. Bartoschek, Sr.

WEISER – Services for Bernhard E. Bartoschek Sr., 61, Weiser, who died Monday at a Weiser hospital, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Northam-Jones Chapel by Dr. Leonard Reifel. Interment will be of Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.

He was born Dec. 20, 1913, In Weiser, and attended Weiser schools. He owned and operated the Seventh Street Service Station for 35 years.

He was a member of the IOOF Lodge and the Knights of Pythias. Surviving are his wife, Jean, of Weiser; three sons. Bernhard Jr., Ted and Rodney, all of Weiser: three daughters, Mrs. Kenneth (Nora) Eisenbarth of Spokane, Mrs. Ernest (Theresa) Rothley of Loto, Mont., and Mrs. Robert (Patricia) Jacks of Frenchtown, Mont.; two brothers, Edwin of Weiser, and Carl of Helena, Calif.; two sisters. Mrs. Glen (Marjorie) Horning of Midvale, and Mrs. Rebekah Hopper of Orofino; three stepsons, Ronald Neill with the U.S. Navy, Bud Neill of Boise and Allan Neill with the U.S. Air Force in San Jose, Calif.; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Don (Kay) McIntyre of Council: 24 grand- children, and several nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to the Idaho Lung Association.

Bernhard “Junior” Bartoschek, Jr.

WEISER Services for Bernhard “Junior” Bartoschek, Jr., 32, Weiser, who died Friday at his home, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Northam-Jones Chapel, by Dr. Leonard LReifel. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery, Weiser.

He was born Jan. 1, 1944, at Weiser, where he was reared and attended school. He enlisted in the U.S. Air Force in 1962 and served in Germany. He was discharged in 1966. He worked with his father at Seventh Street Service Station for many years. He later purchased the station from his father, which he operated until November, 1975. Mr. Bartoschek was a member of the Russell Smith Post No. 42, American Legion, Weiser, and of the Weiser Chapter of Alcoholics Anonymous.

Surviving are his mother, Mrs. Walt (Ruth) Hester, Payette; two brothers, Ted and Rod, both Weiser; three sisters, Mrs. Kenneth (Nora) Eisenbarth, Spokane, Mrs. Theresa Rothley, Lolo, Mont., and Mrs. Bob (Pat) Jacks, Frenchtown, Mont.; 15 nieces and nephews and several aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his father in 1975 and a brother, Vance in 1969.
