Mary “Bobbi” (Smith) Rollins
Bobbi was Born 1943 ins Washington DC, raised in Weiser, Idaho and lived there until her move to North Spokane in 1988. The last 15 years, Bobbi has enjoyed living on her property on the river in Post Falls. Bobbi graduated from Weiser High School in 1961 and attended Oregon State University and University of Idaho.
Bobbi’s career began as a legal secretary from 1963-1966. She then took over management of her parents’ business, Sterling Codifiers, Inc. in 1966, in Weiser, where she became owner and President in 1975. She grew the business from accounts in 8 states to 25 states and moved the business to Coeur d’Alene in 1996. Bobbi sold her business to her son and retired in 2007.
Bobbi was involved in many organizations including Chambers of Commerce in several communities; local golf organizations; she was an Idaho Junior Golf Association founding member; homeowners’ association board member; Camp Cross Commission chair; vestry member and senior warden for the Episcopal Church of the Resurrection; and was most recently serving as Chair of the Post Falls Urban Renewal Agency, as well as a newly elected board member of Coeur d’Alene Homes Assisted Living and Memory Care. Bobbi had many interests and hobbies which included golf, piano, boating, working out, yoga and reading. Most of all she loved loving and enjoying her friends and family.
Bobbi’s parents, Bob & Maxine Smith preceded her in death. Bobbi is survived by her two children, Rob Rollins and M.J. Bolt, their spouses Jill Rollins and Brandon Bolt, her 5 grandchildren Larissa Rollins, Austin Bolt, Alexis Rollins, Preston Bolt, and Alecia Rollins, sisters Nancy Buthman (Cape Coral FL) and Sally Baker (Weiser ID,) several nephews and nieces, as well as many friends that will carry forever the seeds Bobbi planted in their hearts.
A Celebration of Life service for Bobbi will be held January 18th @ 2 p.m. @ St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Coeur d’Alene. Contributions can be made to the Bobbi Rollins Memorial Fund at any Mountain West Bank or mailed to Mountain West Bank, PO Box 2227, Hayden, ID 83835 where donations will go to Camp Cross and Wounded Warriors in her name.
