WEISER – Services for Clifford P. Meacham, 80, Weiser, who died Saturday at home, will be conducted at 2:30p.m. today at Northam-Jones Funeral Chapel by Dr. Leonard Reifel and the Rev. Bill Hawk. Entombment will be in Mountain View Mausoleum, Boise.
He was born July 31, 1898, at Prescott, lowa, to Herbert and Ella Robinson Meacham, and moved with his parents to Weiser in 1910. He graduated from Weiser High School and Oregon State University, and served with the Army during World War 1.
He married Helen Pybus Jan. 29, 1921, at Gorham, N.Y., and they farmed in the Jonathon area of the Weiser Flat. They retired in 1963 and moved into Weiser in 1973.
He was a member of the Weiser Community Church, Lambda Phi Alpha Fraternity and Weiser Masonic Lodge No. 23.
Surviving are his wife of Weiser; a daughter. Mrs. William (Janet) Collier of Corte Madera, Calif.; a son, Don Meacham of New Iberia, La.; an aunt, eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Idaho Youth Ranch at Rupert or to the Heart Fund, P.O. Box 144, Weiser 83672.
