Ester L. Huse

Esther L. Huse, 92, of Boise, died Monday, Nov. 21, 1988, in a Boise nursing home.

Miss Huse was born Aug. 16, 1896, at Crystal Falls, Mich. She graduated from the University of Washington. After teaching English at Boise High School for 37 years, she retired in 1966.

Since her retirement she was active in AAUW, Retired Teachers Association, and various other civic and social groups.

Survivors include her three nieces, Helen Spaulding of Tacoma, Wash., Barbara Stearns of Huntsville, Ala., and Margaret King of Edmond, Okla.; a special friend, Dorothy Johnson, who assisted her in care in recent years.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 25, at the Summers Funeral Home, Boise. The Rev. Darrell V. Beddoe will officiate. Burial will follow in the Morris Hill Cemetery.
