Nov. 12, 1903 – June 2, 1964
WEISERHix Keithly Randleman, 60, prominent local insurance man, civic leader and a former city councilman, died Tuesday in a local hospital.
Born Nov. 12, 1903 in Midvale, the son of C. W. and Rose Keithly Randleman, he moved to Weiser in 1919 and made his home there in the intervening years. He attended school in Midvale and was graduated from Weiser High School. His marriage to Ruth V. Bunchanan occurred Sept. 19, 1925.
Mr. Randleman was associated with Jack Hannigan and Verne Chamberlin in the Chevrolet Garage here for many years. In 1944, he entered business with his father in the Randleman Agency and was a district agent for the Farmers’ Insurance Group for 20 years. Because of ill health, he sold his business in October of last year, but remained a local agent for the Farmers’ group.
He was a member of Knights of Pythias Myrtle Lodge No. 26 and was a charter member of the old Weiser Cavalry. He be-longed to Weiser Lodge AF&AM No. 120, Grand Chapter, Royal Arch Masons, State of Idaho; the Royal Arch Masons’ Weiser Chapter No. 11; Grand Com- mandery, Knights Templar of Idaho; Elks Lodge No. 1683; Loyaute Chapter 19, OES, and the Weiser Kiwanis Club.
Survivors include his wife, of Weiser; two sons, James Randleman, New Plymouth, and Murray Randleman, Half Moon Bay, Calif.; two brothers, Z. L. Randleman, Moscow and Curtis S. Randleman, Snoqualmie, Wash.; two sisters, Cora E. Butts, Fruitland and Josephine R. Naughtin, Boise, and three grandchildren.
Services will be Friday at 2:30 p. m. at Northam-Jones Chapel. The Rev. Dean Copeland and the Rev. Joseph Wagnon will officiate. Interment will be at Hillcrest.
