Ida Terashima
WEISER — Services for Ida Terashima, 54, Weiser, who died of natural causes April 18, 1982, in a Boise hospital, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at Thomason’s Northam-Jones Chapel by the Rev. George Hirose of Weiser Church of the Redeemer. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery, Weiser.
She was born Sept. 14, 1927, in North Powder, Ore., to George and Masuka Yashenaka Kawasoe. She was reared and educated in Weiser. She attended the University of Idaho for two years and the College of Idaho for a year. She worked at The Merc in Weiser for a short time. She married Frank Terashima in 1961 in Winnemucca, Nev. She worked for Idaho First National Bank, Weiser, from 1951 until the time of her death.
Survivors include her husband of Weiser; a son, Randall L. of Weiser; a brother, Melvin Kawasoe of Portland; a sister, Mary Kawasoe of Blackfoot; a nephew; and two nieces.
