Janna Lee Real, 47, passed away Friday, May 20, 2016 in Orem, Utah. She was born February 17, 1969 to Richard Douglas and Roberta Gardner Real in Weiser, Idaho.
She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where she held many youth positions as a teenager. She attended school in Weiser and graduated from Weiser High School in 1987. Later that summer she moved to Provo, Utah, were she attended UVCC in Orem, Utah, where she was studying radiology. She worked at Macey’s grocery store and Motel 6 to pay for her schooling.
In 1988, Janna was involved in a car accident and was diagnosed with a Traumatic Brain Injury. She lived in Weiser for 8 years before returning to Orem, where she has lived for the last 20 years. Janna considered Orem Rehab and Nursing her home. She was cared for by wonderful people and was surrounded by those she considered family and friends. Janna touched many lives with her contagious smile and ability to brighten the lives of those around her.
Janna is survived by her 5 brothers and sisters-in-law: Rick Real of Oklahoma, Ron and Renae Real of Orem, Utah; Robert and Melissa Real of Weiser, Idaho; Scott and Sandye of Weiser, Idaho; Louis and Bobbie Real of Kuna, Idaho. She has 21 nephews and nieces and 9 great nephew and nieces.
She is proceeded in death by her parents, brother, Jason Real and niece, Erin Real.
As a family we would like to thank all her care givers at Orem Rehabilitation and Nursing and the various doctors for many years of service and love they have shown her.
Janna will be missed by many.
Funeral Services for Janna will be held Tuesday, May 24th, at 11:00 am, at the LDS Chapel located at 1500 South 800 East, Orem, Utah, where a Viewing will be held prior from 10:00 to 10:45 am. Interment in Orem City Cemetery.
