WEISER — Services for Paul Eugene Sumner, 44, Albany Ore, who died Saturday at an Albany hospital after a short illness will be conducted at 2 pm Saturday at Northam-Jones Chapel by the Rev Joseph Wagnon. Interment will follow at Hillcrest.
He was born July 28 1929 at Alliance Neb At the age of six he moved with his parents to Payette. He graduated from Weiser High School in 1948 and attended Boise Junior College He served in the US Navy from 1950 to 1954 and then attended telegrapher’s school in Seattle. He was employed by the Great Northern Railroad and for the past 15 years had been employed by the Burlington Northern Railroad.
He married Jacqueline Stroner March 4 1959 at Weiser. They lived at Spokane for eight years and moved to Albany In 1969 He is survived by his wife in Albany, his parents Mr and Mrs C.A. Sumner Weiser three brothers Robert E Sumner Puyallup, WA Joseph Sumner Weiser and Chester Sumner, Highlands, Calif, six sisters Mrs Eric B (Mary) Johnson, Redding, Calif Mrs Louis L (Norma) Kiser, Meridian, Mrs Norman J (Neva) Derrick, Pasco, Wash, Mrs Richard (Edna) Hult, Citrus Heights, Calif, Mrs Don (Anna) Anderson, Boise and Mrs William E (Mildred) Lauer, Othello, Wash and numerous nieces and nephews.
