Phyllis (Lesh) Keithley

Ontario, Ore. Phyllis “Sue” Keithley, 65, of Ontario, Ore., died Tuesday, Nov. 17, 1992, in an Ontario, Ore. care center. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. today, Friday, Nov. 20. at Thomason Funeral Chapel, Weiser. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery, Weiser. She was born October 9, 1927, at Weiser, a daughter of Harold A. and Frances Lesh. She was raised and educated at Weiser.
She married Carol (Keith) Keith- ley on December 25, 1950, at Weiser. The couple resided near Midvale where they ranched. They moved to Baker City, Ore., in the early 60’s and Sue began working for Lew Brothers Tire Center as a bookkeeper. She was later employed by St. Elizabeth’s Community Hospital as a book- keeper. She retired in 1984 and moved to Meridian and the last year and a half she had resided at Ontario, Ore. She was well known for her wonderful attitude towards life and good nature, and her love of children.
Survivors include a daughter and her husband, Colleen and Gary Hubler of Moore Park, Calif.: two sons and their wives, Chip and Patty Keithley of Portsmouth, Va., and Jay and Margaret Keith- ley of Ontario, Ore.; a brother, Mike Lesh of Meridian; a sister, Marilyn Rogers of Middleton; and a sister and brother-in-law, Clau- dia and Tom Holmes of Midvale: eight grandchildren; and numer- Ous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and three brothers, Wayne, Bill, and Roy. The family suggest memorials be made in her name to the Am- bulance Memorial Fund, Box 9. Midvale, 83645, or to a favorite charity.
