Wilma (Jackson) Webb

Obituary

Class of 1944
Oct. 15, 1925 – July 5, 2023
Wilma (Jackson) Webb died Saturday, July 5, 2003, after a long, courageous battle with cancer and other physical problems.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 12, at St. Andrews’ Episcopal Church in McCall, with the Rev. Stan Tate officiating.
Wilma was born Oct. 15, 1925, in Portland, Ore., where she and her sister grew up. She moved to Weiser, Idaho, her senior year, and graduated from Weiser High School in 1944. After marrying Wayne R. Webb on Nov. 15, 1945, they moved to McCall where they raised four children. She was a devoted mother, smokejumper wife, and active in the community. After Wayne retired in 1975, they enjoyed traveling and wintering in Yuma, Ariz., and eventually moved to Nampa, Idaho, where they enjoyed their last years.
Wilma was an avid bridge player, enjoyed many card games, and games which challenged her mind. When she made friends, they usually lasted throughout her life. She was strong, independent, opinionated, and very intelligent.
Wilma is survived by three children, Terry, Randy (Inna), and Marsha, as well as grandson, Joshua. She is also survived by her sister, Alberta (Warren) Constans, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Wayne, and their son, Michael.
Her family wishes to thank all friends and relatives for the outpouring of kindness and support over the last years.
Memorials may be made to your favorite charity.
